Southern Balloon Works' Remote Control Blimps are a great tool for generating interest and excitement for your product, business or clients. SBW RC blimps have a great combination of features, are easy to fly and are reasonably priced. A complete options list is provided on each model's page as well as all size and feature details. All of our machines are electric motor-driven, even the huge 30 foot monster which uses multiple 50 amp electric motors for main propulsion.

RC Blimp Features
• Built using polyurethane--the best balloon material for helium retention.
• All models use ducted fan motors where the blade tips are completely enclosed. The use of ducted fans is safer than exposed large propellers. Motor power ranges from 5 amps to 50 amps and from brushed to brushless designs.
• Each RC blimp has a tail motor for superior maneuverability.
• RC blimps 12 feet and smaller use NiMH batteries, 13 feet and larger use Lithium Polymer batteries.
• Spread spectrum radios are used for all models, eliminating the risk of frequency and channel conflicts while flying.
• One-way, easy to use fill valves are included with all models.

Custom RC Shapes:
We can construct a variety of unique shapes and sizes to suit your company's needs. A nylon cover with digital graphics can complete the look. We've made a variety of unique RC shapes including a submarine, a ufo, a bottle, an apple, a sphere and even a shark!

Graphics Requirements:
Vectored art works best for all graphics since they can be resized without loss of quality. Typical programs used for vectored art are Illustrator, Freehand, CorelDraw! and QuarkXpress. (.ai, .eps, .pdf, .cdr, with all fonts converted to curves)
Rastered art will work only for digital graphics but MUST BE ACTUAL PRINTED SIZE. Anything smaller will not reproduce well. Typical programs used for rastered art are Adobe Photoshop and Paintshop Pro. (.jpg, .tif, .psd, 100dpi) Rastered art is not useable for vinyl or insignia graphics.
Digital graphics are only available on white or two-toned inflatables.
